Preston Ordone, the 2-year-old TikTok sensation known as “Okay Baby,” tragically passed away following a car accident on April 24, 2025, near Covington, Louisiana. The incident occurred when the family’s 2011 Ford F-150 veered off Interstate 12 and struck a tree. Preston, who was seated in the rear, suffered fatal injuries and was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries .โ
His parents, Katelynn and Jaelen Ordone, were also seriously injured. Katelynn sustained multiple broken bones and a concussion, while Jaelen underwent emergency surgery for leg injuries. Both are recovering in separate hospitals . Their daughter, Paisley Anne, was not in the vehicle at the time of the crash.โ
The Louisiana State Police reported that Preston was improperly restrained in a child safety seat at the time of the accident. However, his grandfather, Glenn Norris, disputed this claim, stating that a witness confirmed Preston was properly secured. The family has expressed that the police’s statement was “hurtful and painful” .โ
Preston gained popularity on TikTok for his playful videos, often responding with a cheerful “OK” before doing the opposite of what his parents advised.
