SAKAYYAH Complete Document Written By Aisha Ali Garkuwa
Description
“O Allah, grant me the ability to write words of goodness and benefit to the community. Hold my hands, thoughts, eyes, fingers, and studies, and shield me from ever writing anything hateful that may harm others. Grant me the strength to remind and highlight the success of those who trust, believe, persevere, and worship. Show me the end of this book as You showed me its beginning. Bless my parents, children, siblings, schoolmates, and all Muslims. Guide us through both the beginning and end of our lives, and bless our offspring with righteousness. Protect our children’s education and keep them on the right path. Shield us from worldly desires and animosity, O Lord of Glory. Look upon Your servants in need of birth and marriage with merciful eyes, and grant them blessed unions and children. Grant prosperity to the wealthy and help them fulfill their debts. Ease our lives and resolve the trials afflicting our nation. May our pilgrims have a blessed Hajj. Shower us with Your mercy, forgive our sins, and grant us a blessed end. Do not let us utter words of regret as we depart from this world. O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting, in Your mercy we seek refuge. You cooled the bed of my mother Fatima (Deddena) and illuminated her grave. Bless my son with comfort. O Allah, may the earth be as spacious as Paradise for him. Grant us patience and solace in our loss. Have mercy on us and forgive our sins. Grant us a good end. Ameen “
~Aisha Alto, Mom Bobo, you are the only one I feel the pain in my heart for, apart from my mother, as we lost our parents almost simultaneously. May Allah have mercy on them and grant them peace. I remember the time when I wanted to talk to you more than anyone else on social media because I knew you understood the depth of my emotions. Aisha Alto, your prayers for me and my mother are why I pray for you. Mom Bobo, let’s face these challenges together. We’ve both lost someone who understood us.

She gently pushed open the door of her room, enveloped in tranquility and serenity. Despite waking in the middle of the night, seeking solace and divine favor, her demeanor was composed, tinged with sadness and anger. Though the distance between her room and her grandson Modibbo’s house was considerable, the mention of God kept both households vibrant, bestowing peace and tranquility upon them.
Taking a deep breath, she straightened her dress and adjusted the grip on the small butara in her hand. Closing her eyes momentarily, she basked in the sweet, refreshing air, feeling a sense of calm, peace, and contentment wash over her. Casting her gaze towards the west, she observed the moon signaling the onset of nightfall—eleven days into its cycle, indicating midnight or thereabouts. Glancing towards Modibbo’s morning door in the east, she noticed several young women approaching the beautiful house.
The house itself was a marvel, unlike any other in the vicinity or even in European countries. Spacious and grand, it boasted a large courtyard capable of accommodating six cars comfortably. Adjoining the gate was a small room for the servants, and a quaint balcony marked the oil chamber, albeit unoccupied. Papaya trees with long stems and dark leaves lined one side of the house, their ripe fruits adding splashes of red and yellow. A wall separated the courtyard from the inner premises, with a small gate allowing passage for vehicles.
