Chastity Smith, 53, of Trenton, Killed in Greater Cincinnati Head-On Crash

Chastity Smith Car Accident Turtlecreek Township, Ohio — Chastity Smith, a 53-year-old woman from Trenton, Ohio, has died following a devastating two-vehicle crash in the Greater Cincinnati area, a tragedy that also claimed the life of a teenage driver.

Authorities say the fatal collision occurred around 10 p.m. on State Route 741 in Turtlecreek Township, Ohio. According to investigators, Smith was driving a 2020 GMC Terrain northbound when a 2019 Tesla Model 3 traveling southbound crossed the center line and struck her vehicle.

The Tesla, driven by 17-year-old Dylan Sougstad of Cincinnati, veered left of center before the vehicles collided. After the impact, both vehicles left the roadway in opposite directions.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but both drivers were pronounced dead. The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed the identities of the victims shortly afterward.

The crash temporarily closed portions of State Route 741 between Hamilton Road and State Route 63 as authorities investigated the scene and cleared the wreckage. Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Lebanon Post continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
