According to ZIYAZINUN, a life akin to MAALIKUS-SAIF’s has never been witnessed.
A historical review of the Borno kingdom reveals the lengthy rule of the Saifawa Dynasty, lasting about a millennium and originating from the great King Saif.
The narrative surrounding King SAIF may be fictional, yet it delves into the establishment of his reign. Notably, the region where he resided, known as HAMRA’U YAMEN, was established during the ancient times of Prophet Noah.
The story narrates how Prophet Noah prayed for one of his offspring to lead the world and propagate God’s religion. This prayer manifested in SAMU, the eldest son, who journeyed east, and HAMU, the youngest, who journeyed west.
Eventually, ZIAZINUN, a descendant of SAMU, discovered the prophecy and, after a significant period, established the city of HAMRA’U YAMEN.
This city, situated in the HABASHA kingdom, was ruled by SAIFURRA’ ADU, a black king similar to HAMU.
Upon learning of ZIAZINUN’s arrival and city establishment, SAIFURRA’ ADU sought the counsel of sorcerers and soothsayers. They advised a treacherous plan involving poisoning a willing servant named CAMRIYA, who would offer the poison to ZIYAZINUN under the guise of a gift.
The plan was approved by SAIFURRA’ ADU, and CAMRIYA, unaware of the consequences, agreed to carry out the task. Meanwhile, Waziri BAHARU, a secret Muslim, concealed his faith to avoid persecution.
The narrative reflects the religious convictions of the characters, emphasizing the clash between faiths and the intricate political plots woven into the story.
